Norgesaktuelle Tangerine Dream slipper endelig live-albumet The Sessions IV på vinyl, etter at det opprinnelig utkom på CD og digitalt i 2018. Foruten opptak fra Internet Festival Pisa, inneholder The Sessions IV utdrag fra konserten deres på Sirkus-scenen i Tøyenparken under Øyafestivalen 10. august 2018, her representert i form av improvisasjonsverket "10.32pm Session - Persepsjonstransformasjon". Besetningen bestod dengang av Thorsten Quaeschning, Ulrich Schnauss og Hoshiko Yamane.
The Sessions IV double live LP was recorded in 2018 at the Internet Festival Pisa and Øya Festival Oslo. Tangerine Dream enjoyed smash hit albums in the 1970s, and soundtracked some of the biggest films of the 1980s (Risky Business, Firestarter, Near Dark, Thief, Sorcerer). This deluxe double LP was mastered at Abbey Road by Miles Showell, and is pressed in translucent green vinyl.
The band will be embarking on their Continuum tour of Scandinavia starting February 2026, making stops in Gothenburg, Malmö, Oslo, Tromsø and Stockholm.
Their Tromsø appearance will be a special '50 years of Stratosfear' show, part of the Northern Lights Festival.
