Arctic Monkeys' femte studioalbum, titulertAM, gjestes av Josh Homme (QOTSA), Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello) og Bill Ryder-Jones (The Coral). Albumet inneholder blant annet singlene "R U Mine?" og "Do I Wanna Know?".

AM ble, i likhet med gruppas tre foregående album, produsert av James Ford (Florence And The Machine, Klaxons). Co-produsert var denne gang Ross Orton (M.I.A., The Fall), mens innspillingene ble unnagjort i Sage & Sound Recording i Los Angeles og Rancho De La Luna i Joshua Tree.
